How did you come up with the idea to start Starlight Med Spa, and what purpose did you intend to serve with the concept?

I suffered with acne for 18 years.  I experienced the stress, anxiety, shame, and confidence crushing emotions that were tied to my skin issues. I became an expert on all things skincare and also changed my belief system to support the glowing-skinned individual I set myself up to be. I went through this journey and created the Starlight brand to help others step into their best skin and live their greatest life.

Which steps have you taken for the company to achieve the level of consumer trust that has been nationally recognized? 

Each Starlight client is set up on my proven "4 Pillars of Skincare" holistic approach to great skin, where they are fully supported and coached by "Glow Masters". This system maximizes the chance of the client's successful skin transformation.  

What part of your education or other experiences do you feel was the most helpful in preparing you for success? 

My constant inner-work in the field of self awareness and self-improvement can be credited towards my success. I have transformed my mind to believe in ideas that support me, instead of ideas that tell me my dreams aren't possible. I also have burning ambition and desire to reach great goals that I think of each day. 

Which strategies have you found the most effective in growing your audience/ bringing awareness of your service to a larger consumer group? 

Informative content that is also visually interesting has helped Starlight grow its audience. Our @starlightskinofficial Instagram is where the magic started, and this led to a separate @starlightmedspa account to focus solely on skincare treatments instead of products, tips, and skincare tips like the main account. 

Which partnerships, if any, have been the most constructive in bringing your goals closer to becoming a reality?

The partnership with my Starlight team is the most constructive in bringing my goals to reality. Without their love, support, friendship, and hard work I would not stand here.   

How do you balance work, passions/hobbies, and relationships?

I get to find that balance by having a team that can support the business during my hours off. These helping hands allow me to be with my kids (Skyler (3) & Saela (1)) each weekday after 5pm and on the weekends.


What are your future plans to build on your personal/ company achievements and fulfill your vision for success/ what developments can your audience or clientele look forward to expecting next?

I am meant to serve and help as many people as possible. To do this, more Starlight locations are in the works. I can only handle so many, so I am open to collaborations and business partnerships in the future.  


What advice would you like to give readers that hope to achieve success in your field?

My advice would be to take self-responsibility for your career and not blame others or outside circumstances for hardships experienced day-to-day. Making excuses for things gives your power away, in a situation that is usually meant as a learning experience. Take responsibility for your success and work towards your goals with discipline, each day. Keep an open mind and check your ego at the door; be willing to remold and always grow.
